Blues performance series with mobile food market. Community engagement events and community health awareness are to take place in the Summer of 2023.

BNatural Academy of Music and Dance for children 5 to 14 years of age.
Footsteps to Follow
Continued Programming for youth to re-cycle, up-cycle and create an ensemble to wear in a fashion show. Program will highlight basic sewing and creativity skills and teach elements of self-esteem.
Shine Beauty Studio
Hairstyling workshops covering the history of hair and braiding. The curriculum will address self-confidence, and opportunities for continued growth in cosmetology.
Jokez N Jamz Event
Jokez N Jamz Community Entertainment at Renaissance Event Center will highlight community artists, geared towards family-friendly entertainment and community engagement and artistic development.
Renaissance Event Center
Cooking class: 5-course meal preparation for 16- to 25-year-old youth. Workshops will include etiquette, table dressing, and food service. The goal is a formal dinner prepared by student participants for family and community members.
Afro Agriculture
Afro Agriculture- Rhythm and Rhizomes – Body nutrition and awareness program. Partnership with Peeler Recreation Center and Zodwa Dance Company. The final project will be a raised wooden garden at Peeler in dancer shape for community care and enjoyment.
K&Q Publishing
Writing Workshop – Small group workshop to explore spoken word, poetry, and expressive writing. Workshops will cover topics: editing, graphic design, and how to get a book published.
43North77West Photography
Photography and Self Awareness Pilot Program for teens: classes to introduce photography, editing, social media training, and image awareness. Workbook for each student and swag bags for participants. The goal is a Selfie Station and workbook completion. Program materials will be used to promote future programs.
