Call for Artists
The Greensboro Convention and Visitor’s Bureau is looking for artists to submit original artwork for a chance to be featured in the 2025 Greensboro Area Convention & Visitors Bureau’s Visitors Guide.
Eligibility:
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
- Adults may submit entries on behalf of minors.
Submission Requirements:
- The artwork must be original and created by the participant.
- No photographs or photo-based designs will be accepted.
- AI cannot be used in any way to create this artwork.
- The theme for the cover design is “Show Us Your Greensboro.”
- Artists must be residents of Guilford County.
- Submissions must be received by September 1, 2024.
SPECS:
- Cover Artwork Area: 7.25”x8”
- Inside Page Artwork Area: 7.25”x10.75”
- PLEASE NOTE: the edges will be hidden
How to Enter:
- Submit your entry via the designated form on the Greensboro Area Convention & Visitors Bureau website.
- Include your full name, contact information, and a brief description of the artwork as directed by the entry form.
- Multiple entries from the same artist are allowed but must be submitted individually.
Prizes:
- First Prize: $500 Visa gift card, a Greensboro Swag Bag, and an artist profile in the 2025 Visitors Guide.
Judging:
- Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, and how well they capture the theme “Show Us Your Greensboro.”
- The decision of the judges will be final.
- The Greensboro Area Convention & Visitors Bureau reserves the right to choose no winner if no suitable entries are received.
Rights:
- By entering the contest, participants grant the Greensboro Area Convention & Visitors Bureau the right to use, reproduce, and display the submitted artwork in connection with the 2025 Visitors Guide and for promotional purposes.
Notification:
- Winners will be notified via email by October 1, 2024.
- Prizes will be distributed within 30 days of notification.
Additional Terms:
- The Greensboro Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries.
- The Bureau reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at anytime.
- The Greensboro Area Convention & Visitors Bureau reserves the right to choose no winner if no suitable entries are received.
- Entries can be disqualified at any time, for any reason, with no notification to the entrant.
