Created in the Classroom Open Artist Call

This exhibition will showcase art made in the classroom, from CVA’s Art in the Afternoon program to the Print Shop to the Ceramics Studio. CVA is also opening up the gallery for submissions from artists who have created art in public school (elementary, middle and high school), colleges and universities, and public art classes offered throughout Guilford County!

Work must have been created in a classroom setting within the past two years. They accept all forms of fine art: Painting, Prints, Ceramics, Pottery, Works on paper, Drawings, Collage, and Small sculptures.

CVA wants to highlight these classes and ask that the program administrators submit an 8 ½ x 11 or 11 x 17 sheet describing the programs and classes available and how to sign up with its student submissions. The flyer will be displayed next to the student’s art piece.
