Creative Greensboro Partnership

Artist Happy Hours are back this September and October, inviting artists of every discipline to come together, share ideas, and spark new connections. The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro (The ACGG) is proud to partner with Creative Greensboro in presenting these gatherings through The ACGG’s Professional Development Hub for Artists.

Since 1960, we’ve worked to support anchor institutions, artists, teachers, festivals, and public art. Today, we combine that work with efforts to strengthen the Greater Greensboro area’s art ecosystem. Through grants, shared services, professional development, marketing, and advocacy, we champion artists and arts organizations alike. As a community-supported nonprofit, we unite public and private resources to amplify creative voices to make sure the arts remain accessible and thriving across our community.

Creative Greensboro, the City’s Office for Arts and Culture, has been supporting the city’s creative landscape since its founding in 2019. Through guidance from the City’s Cultural Arts Master Plan, the office connects artists to public resources and opens doors to spaces, opportunities, and experiences that strengthen and spotlight Greensboro’s vibrant arts community.

The office is committed to supporting sustainable and vibrant initiatives throughout the city. From managing the Greensboro Cultural Center to investing more than $3 million dollars each year in direct and in-kind support for artists and arts nonprofits, the office creates opportunities and accessible experiences for all.
