About the Job
The Data & File Management Assistant's role is not just about managing data and files. It's about contributing to the smooth operation of The ACGG's administrative processes, which in turn enhances its ability to serve the community effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management:
- Collect, input, and update data in the organization's databases and systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data management protocols.
File Organization:
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files.
- Ensure files are easily accessible and properly archived.
- Develop and implement filing systems and procedures.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Generate reports and summaries based on collected data.
- Assist in preparing documentation for meetings, presentations, and grants.
- Maintain logs and records of activities and tasks.
Support and Collaboration:
- Provide administrative support to team members as needed.
- Attends and participates in weekly staff meetings
- Collaborate with team members to streamline data management processes.
- Assist in special projects and initiatives related to data and file management.
Quality Control:
- Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and file integrity.
- Identify and correct discrepancies in data and files.
- Implement best practices for data and file management.
Qualifications:
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Previous experience in data management, file organization, or administrative support preferred
